So many things happened lately and I haven't wrote a thing. Lazy me! Oh no, I'm not going to talk about World Football Championship or Le tour de France (even though my grandma will be able to keep you up to date about cycling, and I'm not jocking about that: she is a huge fan of Tour de France; if I think about it, she might be right watching it, it is somehow relaxing and you can also see some beautiful landscapes; note to myself: spend more time with gran).
The weather (because you almost always start a conversation with the weather topic) has been atypical for this first summer trimester. June started furiously with rain and storms (I kind of miss the sun). I ruined one of my favourite pair of sandals because of a storm. It supposed to be a nice Saturday afternoon with friends going to a concert, when the storm chased us from the field. By the time we got to the mall to dry up and have some tea I've noticed my sandals were ruined cause of the water. Not to talk about my white knit pants that looked like a Dalli painting. So much for that concert. Bleah. And the weather kept it like this the entire month: storm, storms and more storms. At least I had my chance to get some tan another June Saturday when going to the seaside with my brother and some friends. It a was a blast that day and the landscapes at Murfaltar on the sunset were incredible. (note to myself: take some friends to a wine tasting)
I even got to the Village Museum, a place were I haven't been for years (I think like seven years or so). To my surprise, we were allowed to take pictures and thanks to the folk festival there my pictures are priceless. I felt like a child again and I think I should do that more often. I promise to post some of those pictures here pretty soon. And I also went in park and took long walks, met some of my old friends and had a great time together.
Talking about old great friends: Happy many returns! C. for your birthday. I hope you won't need to get in a hospital anytime sooner than 6 month from now on. How strange that sounds, but due to your condition last week we were able to see each other again and catch up the lost time. I know it wasn't easier for you after your surgery and I must confess now that it wasn't easier for me either to see you like that and I have hospital-seek myself, but you are such a strong person. Can't wait for that wedding when all this pain will be forgotten. Good to see you friend!
Oh, not to forget that between work, my dentist, fitness club and home I also had a premiere: attending a Japanese class. I only had 2 classes by now but I have the entire summer to study this exotic interesting language. And if you're going to ask me about the summer holiday, I don't have a plan yet, but I know something will come up. And I truly need some spare days to rest away from civilisation.
Next articles will be about movies I've seen (and I've seen a lot lately), books I've red (and I've red a bunch) and of course music.
See you soon!
