Strange things, my dearest Watson

I thought Halloween was a week ago, but no, strange things happen every day, when you less expect them. Lately I had some strange dreams but that isn't that strange because you can see the weather outside. I also had fever and I was gloomy because of the cold but I do remember to laugh from time to time. Friday I was on my way home and some guy gave me this book. I refused him politely, but he insisted that is free. OK, then, let's see what is about. The book is about psycho killers (just what I need), and has some interesting illustrations. While browsing the book and reading about John Ketch's executions, I raised my eyes to look around. Then I first noticed that the guardians were wearing face masks to prevent flu infection. That was creepy. So I let my book aside and tried to think at something positive.

Today I went to work a little bit later and I took my chance to pay some bills and solve some things I got in plan for this week. So I went off on this horrible weather to the police station, that I found more animated than the last time I've been there. I took some notes and went to the post office to pay the bills. Is there that my nerves got crammed up. There were only 2 ladies working today and is too much telling they were really working, because none of them where in the mood. I was pendulating between the two offices like a crazy to see who's available, and once I got in front of one, the lady left to solve something else. I filled in my form and when finally one of the two was free to help me she told me I have some more fields to fill. She showed me how to, even filled in some for me and I went to finish the job somewhere aside. When done, I went back to her. You know what? She send me fill in another form. Couldn't she told me that from the very beginning? I was boiling already because it was already late and I had to get back the police and then to the office. When my form was finally filled correctly, it took another minutes for that lady to introduce the information, manually, in her computer, and she was no IT expert. Meanwhile, trying to calm down (not a successful task)I was thinking that if I was treating clients the way those ladies were doing it, I might not a have a job at this very moment. By the time I got out the post office, 30 minutes had elapsed. Gee! And off I went running with my scarf in the wind back to the police station and then happily at the office. And as if this wasn't enough for the exhausted me, while at the subway, I noticed someone was staring at me. I was tired, and upset and trust me sometimes I can't see that good without glasses. When I got down I realized it was my new office mate. I went to him and excused myself for not recognizing him. It was really embarrassing. But at least now I'm relieved to know that I have a neighbour among my mates.

Once at the office I realized that the lights above my desk aren't working and I called someone to fix them. The creepy part is that for about 2 hours I was under the menace of those hanging wires over my head, "the light's insides".
Is there anything strange going to happen next. I hope not!
