We have strike!

I'm one month older today and Friday 13th doesn't come with very good news. According to the subway employees from Tuesday there will be a warning strike due to what the trains will circulate only after 16.oo hours each day. That means leaving home 1 hour earlier, traffic jams, and nerves. Just beautiful. I'm trying to picture how crowded Bucharest will be at the surface and me crossing it from North to South. Be brave!

I've lost last week's theater festival because there wasn't too much publicity and in short time there were no tickets available. But today is Friday, and that means the weekend comes in quick steps. What can be more appropriate on Friday 13th than going to watch a movie about 2012 Mayan predictions. I'm going to be there at that premiere tonight at 7.

A new club open its gates tonight on Lipscani 19: Rocka Rolla. And if you're not quite into rock and alchool, there is always an alternative. Because until next Sunday, Bucharest is the host of an opera theater festival intitled Life is beautiful. Among the exceptional opera shows like Barbe bleu, Romeo and Juliet, The Merry Widow, you can also participate at dance workshops, books launch paties, exhibitions, ballet, conferences, movie projections at Cafeneaua actorilor, and concerts performed by Tiger lilies on November 13th, and Pink Martini on 22nd.

Let the show begin.
