Idiocracy

In life we meet all kind of people. I like people being different, difference is good. But extremes are the ones bothering me. Like the moment someone asks me to fill in a form giving my personal data and after completing this chore I receive the form back with another blank one to refill. Why? Because I've used red ink, instead of blue. OK. Haven't I filled in the form correctly? Have I misspelled my name, have I missed filling my identification number? Why does the color matter? What if I had a green ink instead of red? What if I couldn't use any other color than brown, because I like it and I cannot use anything else instead? What if pink was the only ink pen I had on my desk? Does that mean that the data I filled in are incorrect, against the law or a shame? I haven't seen stipulated in any law, anywhere that the color blue is the only one accepted by authorities in order to fill in a paper. The law accepts and encourages diversity, but people working in administrative bureaus claim that they cannot read a paper written in other color than blue. That's one of the statements that makes me feel a complete idiot because I don't understand the reasoning of it.
