Here comes the weekend with its 2 free days. If you're not going to work, you're gonna work around the house: cleaning, do the laundry, gardening, and even do the shopping for the next week. Among all those activities we use to squeeze in our weekend schedule it might be great to try some new music and movies if possible. I've seen the offer for the big screens this week. You can try Iron Man 2 or The man who stares at goats (I'll try this one).
Or you can try the European Movie Festival, 14th edition, with movies that can be seen at Cinema Pro and cinema Studio up until the 16th of May (I can't believe it's already May).
If you prefer music instead of movies, it will be great to season your weekend with Robbie William's Morning sun
or Shakira's Gypsy. If you're more like into new country music you can also try some Lady Antebellum and Need you now.
Don't forget about the ONGFest on Piata Unirii from Friday morning at 10 am till Sunday evening at 8 pm. It's the kind of festival that tries to make the public aware of social responsibility and the importance of being a volunteer.
If you like jazz music, starting Friday evening and the following six you can go to Hard Rock Cafe Herastrau at Caffe Festival. Or maybe you prefer listening live Dianne Reeves at Sala Palatului on Sunday evening?
And above all don't forget that Sunday is Europe day. On this special occasion The Bucharest National Opera (ONB)will organise the Opera Promenade, an evening open air concert in front of the theatre. That sounds great.
Enjoy your weekend no matter what!
