The first fall weekend

Fall came unexpectedly soon this year but full with surprises. In Bucharest that's the start for events. Where can you go this weekend?

To the Opera. Between August 30Th and September 26Th at the National Opera House in Bucharest will take place the International Music Festival and Competition "George Enescu" the 19Th edition. This Saturday you can see Othello.

Also for music lovers (and trust me I'd like to split in two) between September 4Th and 6Th there's the Tuborg Green Fest down town, Parc Izvor, where a big surprise for the public will be The Guano Apes concert and Chicane (if someone goes there, please tell me how it was).

I'm still wondering what surprise prepares the city hall for Bucharest days.

PS: About music, there is something that shocked me. Have you seen Shakira's latest video, She Wolf? OMG! Help me to understand that awooo! :)

  1. I've been to Chicane and Guano Apes and Silent Disco.Chicane was weak compared to what I've expected from them. They remixed most of the songs, excepting "Offshore('97)" and the vocal changed (no longer Maire Brennan).I was 4feet away ffrom the stage and the sound was dim.In a word for a fan like me was dissapointing.Guano Apes was vry good in comparison to Chicane. They started with the song "Open your eyes" from the album "Proud like a God" and went through all of their well known songs. The show ended with "Lords of the boards".It was very good.Silent Disco is the same as BestFest, the same Dj (the one from Holland) and the music stays good.
