Covered in paint

I told you last week that I'll be working this weekend. And so I did. At least on Saturday it was marvelous. And things just kept going better and better by the minute. I've managed to turn myself into a Snow white while sweeping the floor and cleaning the walls just to prepare them for painting. I've painted some inside walls and I got ready to help my brother to paint his own room.

He was really excited by the new color, which was supposed to be a nice cognac shade. But when on the walls, it turned to be a bright shiny ... pink. Yaics! So we had to cover it with a white paint and repainted with another shade of brown again next day. Meanwhile, I went in the backyard to relax a little before painting some wood floor. While I was admiring the view I've noticed that there was no more water in my pond and I wondered where my fishy would be. My grandma told me it was in a jar and I went looking for it. It seemed like something or someone had swollen it because the fish was nowhere to be found. Then I set my eyes on my cat, who was laying lazy in the sun. I now know the answer: I have a 2 in 1 cat (cat + fish). Poor fishy!

And back to work. I went back painting some wood this time and I've searched for a paintbrush. My mom gave me one and I began my work happy to finally see some results after such a long day. But, by the time I finished painting the first coat, something occurred to me. My paintbrush lost its hair on the painted wood and it looked dreadful. Oh no! not now please. I had to do something to prevent a disaster so the first thing that got into my hands was a package of wet furniture polish tissues I've just bought. And I begun pulling them out, one after another and cleaned every single paintbrush hair. By the end of this operation my hands were all painted in brown. So you can imagine I wasn't competing at that late hour in the evening for the best good looking lady in the neighbourhood. I was a mess with paint all over. Can't wait to finish all this work and relax.
