Followed by bad luck

Last week was a strange one. Bad luck must have followed me step by step. It was a week that meant something to me in the past but nowadays ... it was awful.

Firstly, on Monday I received a phone call from a stranger who pretended to represent my mobile phone company. It was a long conversation. Main topic of discussion was that I won a price from the company that consisted in 1000 euros and a washing machine (yap, I know, there's no connection between a washing machine and a phone company, that's what I thought back then).
Operator "Hello. My name is Matei Cristian, and I work at X company. Is this your phone number?"
Me "Hi! Yes it is. I'm listening."
O "Miss ... Your name please"
Me "Hm, I'm ..."
O "OK. Can you here me well? I'm going to ask you to wait a little, because we have a little surprise for you (clicks) ... yes, you've been awarded with a 1.000 euros price and a washing machine due that our company celebrates 10 years of existence (I knew that this company is very recent in my country) and that you'll have to come to the nearest bank to take it, without ending up this conversation, in about 30 minutes"
I've became so suspicious and I laughed because the guy's voice was very funny and sounded stupid. I told him that I need more information about this price and that I thought it was very unlikely to be truth. He asked me why d I laugh and i told him that he didn't act like an real phone company employee, because his language wasn't official at all. More, that soon should be April Fool's Day and that also might be a hoax. He replied that he's just a human being and that if I'm not interested in that price he'll give it to someone else. I've ended up conversation and went back in my office. But surprise ... the guy called back (didn't he said that if I'm not interested ... weired!)and asked why I hung up on him. He continued with his bogus and told me he will make the phone connection with his boss (I've heard some clicks on the background) and the one that answered this time, surprise or not, was the same person. How can you not laugh? He asked me to note a bank account and then to go to that bank to take my price in less than 30 minutes without hung up the phone. I've bit my lip not to laugh out loud. I told him that I'll take someone with me and that I'll be there in no time. He wasn't impressed by that, but he insisted on have a coffee together afterwards. It was my moment. I've bursted into fury! "OK. You tell me right now who you are and it's time you end this bad joke." He began to laugh and told me that was a practical joke on Radio 21 (he presented himself as being Buzdugan, but as you all know Buzdugan is RJ at ZU Radio for a while now). When I asked him to tell me who did that hoax on me he refused to say and told me that someone will call me soon for that matter.
I've called at my phone company and denounced the guy because I had his phone number and they confirmed me that it might have been a fraud attempt and if I want I can make a complaint to the police (the hoax guy asked me some personal information that I wasn't willing to give him; I told him to find those info in his database if he really was who he pretended to be).

So my dear ones, I had my April Fools Day 2 days earlier this year. I don't know not even today who that guy was and what were his real intentions but it scared me a little. the next day I wrote an email to the real Buzdugan asking him to play a nice hoax to the false one. I gave him his number. Case closed!

On Saturday, while I was on the market, a guy split his coffee on my clean jacket and I had to walk all the way back home (and it wasn't a short one) smelling like a coffee shop and with coffee stains on me. How embarrassing! And the guy didn't even apologised.

Yesterday I was in the mood to walk in the park because the weather was so inviting. So I did. I took my beloved family and took a lake tour, took some beautiful pictures with the blossoming trees and relaxed a little. But, on my way back this beautiful day was ruined. I had a unpleasant experience with the ticket collectors. I'm known among my friends as a person who always travels with a ticket, an honest person. I don't know why but this days I totally forgot to put a reminder on my phone to buy a new travel subscription on RATB. Mine expired. When I got out the parc yesterday I went straight to the ticket point to buy one. It was closed. I got on the bus but right before descending the ticket collectors got me. that was really embarrassing because it never happened to me while I'm always having my subscription updated. I tried to explain that I tried to buy one but it was closed but those ladies had no mercy. They even asked me more than usual for a fine (it's 50 lei and they've asked me 100). Thank God my mom was with me and so a poster in the bus that specified the fine's value and told those women. They were very irritated that we so that and after I payed my fine they left. Needless to say that afterwards I cryed a long time because of embarrassment and that it felt unjust. Why it happened to me and why not to those who travels daily without a ticket? the money that I had on my purse to buy myself a new subscription were gone now paying that fine. I felt miserable.

I'm telling you that was an awful week. I'm glad it ended and I do hope so that now will come better days. I keep hoping!
