What a weekend

My last week prayers were answered. Is beautiful outside now and the air and sun invites you to be happy. The trees are blossoming, the sun is up in the sky, and everything feels fine.

I had such a full weekend. Earth hour was celebrated by my family that thank God didn't choose to watch the football match (Romania Lost 2-3 To Serbia in World Cup Soccer Qualifying Match anyway). Another important event was the hour that changed to ST (Summer Time) on Sunday March 29. That means I've slept one hour less than usual. The summer hour in Romania is correlated with the one in the European Union, at 3 hours distance from GMT, changing in the last Sunday of March and the last Sunday in October. Given that on Sunday I woke up at 4.00 a.m. (that means 3 o'clock) to go on a trip, I was exhausted on the evening. I arrived back home at 9.00 p.m.

As I said, I went on a trip with some friends on Olt valley for the first time in my life. It was beautiful and entertaining. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the summer. We went to Ramnicu Valcea, Turnu and Cozia (I love Cozia and I truly regret I haven't seen much more of it because we had to go), then to Ostrov in Calimanesti, an small island somewhere in the middle of river Olt. Finally we had our little adventure in Capatanii mountains where we almost got lost. Our car got stuck in the middle on nowhere and almost had fallen off a cliff. We needed 3 men to coordinate the car in order to return from the top of the mountain.

The view was extraordinary, the weather was absolutely beautiful and our group was great. I had so much fun and relaxation. The way back was exhausting after so many hours spent in the car but it worth it. Yesterday, at the office, at noon, I realised that at the same hour one day earlier I was taking lunch on Olt's valley. Beautiful memories. I posted some pictures on my new Flickr account that you can see on this link:
