Extraordinary comes from ordinary

It's 23:23 in the night and I've just end up seeing Changeling. I'm absolutely speechless.

And I'm thinking: why on Earth this movie has no Oscar? At least for the music. When my brother told me about this film the other day and about how impressed was by the music he made so curious so I barely waited to see it. He was right: the music is absolutely superb. Piano and sax that keeps running all a long the key moments of the story and that creates the dramatic characteristic of it but in a calming way, peacefully. Like when someone realise that's nothing else left to do and that you have to deal with and to accept the reality, to stop struggling.

Maybe some of you wonder why Angelina Jolie didn't take an Oscar for the leading role. My answer is that her character has been overtaken by the story itself. The story of a mother in the 20s that's searching for her 9 years old missing child. She was the victim of LA's police department which was incapable to handle the situation and brought her back another child. That woman struggled to make the police officials understand their mistake but end up being put up in mental facility. Is a story about corruption at all levels and about how simple ordinary people become extra-ordinary by their will power to fight for the truth and for justice.

Angelina as the other actors in the movie were extraordinary. Without them that true tragical story would have never been brought up to our knowledge in such an artistic kind of way. They deserve our applause for their excellent role.

You may remember the rebel Angelina. I believe I should appreciate her even more now as an actress after this role. Known the situation of women at the beginning of the 20Th century, can you imagine a woman used to fight against the injustice as A.J. to play in a role where she had to endure almost silently such painful moments? I admire her for that. As I watched the movie I felt such a rage against all those people who made that woman suffer. And I just simply couldn't understand till one point where from all that power to control herself.

So Clint Eastwood made again a great film with Changeling. Une chef-d'oeuvre!
I'll give it a 10.

Good night now!
