Parade

December 1st is Romania's National Day as I might have said in previous posts. Last year I did nothing on National Day, nothing but learning for Noryoku Shiken. And I've stressed so much with learning that by evening I was sick with exhaustion. This year I invited some friends over my place and decided to go to the parade. Woke up early in the morning to find out on the news that the parade was programmed to start at 11 o'clock, not 9 as I thought. I quickly send and email to my friend who was going with me. Good, more time to relax in the morning. At 10.15 we were walking in line with thousand others like penguins marching in order to rich the Bucharest Arch of Triumph. Finally there, we tried to find a place where from to watch the parade, but soon we came to the conclusion that the task was impossible. Everywhere you were looking others were taller than us (bad bad genes) or the only thing you could admire were little children's touchy on their parents shoulders. Oh my! We had fun for about an hour, for as much as we could resist there trying to watch something by taking pictures with a huge zoom or picking on the camera of a TV employee. I'm glad at least I went there for the first time in my life and listened national hymn while cannons launched 21 projectiles. Pretty much impressive. And of course, couldn't leave the place without seeing some air plains. :)
