I haven't posted in a while, not that I have anything to post about but it is so hot that I find myself useless after work. Not completely :) because I still have some energy left to do some shopping and lately, with my diet, to cook (I'll have to post something about this diet and my cooking experiments). The temperatures here in Bucharest can easily reach 39 - 40 degrees Celsius and it got to my limit of resistance. I'm usually a person who endures pretty well the heat, I like the sun and warm weather very much. I believe that after a 2 full months with no rain I just began to melt down. Last evening it rained but as much as I wanted to be soaked by those rain drops by the time I got out of the subway, the rain already stopped on my side of the town :(. Bummer!
And because I've said things did happened, here's a recent event that bewildered me. After 2 years of work I've finished the last book of the Japanese course that we've been developing at the office. The past weekend, it's been really hot and although I wished to make some delicious cake to celebrate it, I ended up first thing on Monday morning buying some bonbons and cookies for my coworkers. Except those in my office, despite that anyone ate the content of that box, no one said anything to me. OK, what can I expect! I told to myself and put the rest of the bonbons in the fridge. The surprise came the next day when i searched my bonbons in the fridge and it were nowhere to be found. Suspect no 1: the company's manager. Oh my, and is not the first time this is happening. Is just so unbelievable! How can someone get someone else's food from the fridge not asking for permission, not asking of any kind? Not wondering about the other person's possibilities of making, buying and transporting food? The questions can continue on and on. Bewilderment or not the gesture itself is unbelievable. I'll never stop wondering why those with money keep complain about money and how expensive is everything and how strange their behavior can be sometimes, not to say something else.
Has that ever happened to you? What did you do?
