Curiosity didn't kill the cat

I was craving for a cosmetic treatment and so I've decided to try the new beauty salon nearby my home. I only needed a brows' tweezing and I was a little nervous because I have never been to that salon before and I didn't know the esthetician there. You imagine my wonder after taking my short and successfully treatment to be told that it was "on the house" because it was a school day. What? They organize classes during the weekend for a cosmetic school and all the ladies there were students. That was an interesting experience. And they even asked me to come the next day for a full cosmetic treatment, also free. Wow! I felt spoiled this weekend and trust me, it was great. Those things don't happen that often to me so I'd like to think it was my lucky weekend.

While enjoying my treatment, I've heard a guy moaning. "Strange!" I thought and I've peeked through the curtain to see where it came from. There was this guy laying on the bed for a hair removal treatment. Poor guy, he wasn't used to waxing and endured poorly the pain. He was red all over. But it was so funny and I couldn't stop from laughing. Men and pain endurance!

Just like yesterday when on my way home I've seen my neighbour barefoot in the rain. He was getting out of the house to pay the taxi driver that brought his daughter home and didn't bother to put some shoes on. He was enjoying that because I've heard him saying: "How good it is to be barefoot!". How can you not laugh on that?
