Lack of information
I told you before that I hate hospitals. But we all need them from time to time. If that could only be ... never. But back on Earth. This morning, pretty early, I run to the clinic to take that shot against the pandemic virus. I've been told to be there at 7 am. But at 7.30, when I was on the verge of leaving because I was already running late for work, someone came. Once inside the clinic I've lost my priority as the first arrived due to another guy who said he was running late. I've tried to keep my temper. Next, the nurse gave me the vaccine bottle to warm it up a little before taking the shot. And by chance she asked me if I have allergic reactions to medications. I begun by telling her those of what I'm allergic to and I noticed that her face became longer and her eyes wider than before. OK, that wasn't a good sign. She took back the vaccine from me and told me that she cannot help me if I'm going to have an anafilactic shock so I'd better go to a hospital if I really want this vaccination. Let's summarize: I had programmed myself for vaccination since a week ago by phone and no one asked if I'm allergic to something; I've been asked to be there at 7 am and I was but there was no one until 7.30; I was running late for work but someone else, who came later, after me, had priority; I've been asked by chance or I don't know by what miracle if I'm allergic to medicines right before taking a risky shot. What makes anyone think that I'm going to repeat this scene another day? It was enough for me to give up the idea of taking that flu shot.
