Inglorius Basterds ... so Tarantino

The most recent Tarantino's film is Inglorious Basterds, a film that makes the cinefils applaud at its end. That's what happened last night at the cinema I went to. This is for certain an Oscar movie and a 10 points one. For about 3 hours I've laughed and I was horrified in turns. Christoph Waltz interpretation of colonel Hand Landa was absolutely incredible and Brad Pitt's accent excellent. The lines are well written, Tarantino's directing talent is imprinted in the story development. When you almost think you'll get bored, you must be sure that will never happen because will follow some shootings and torturing scenes, all spiced with black humor.
This is the story of an American guerrilla movement in France during the WW2. The Basterds came to France to take their 100 Nazis scalps each infiltrating as civilians. When the opportunity to kill Hitler and to end the war appears, their plans are messed up by col. Landa. Surprisingly or not, this general made allot of enemies among people, one of which, Shoshanna, wants to revenge her family. So, The Operation Kino is developing two parallel plans: the Bastard's and Shoshanna's. What will happen next, I'll let you discover yourself, watching chapter by chapter this incredible film.
