I'm nut(s) about you!

I've finally seen Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs last night. The funny furry creatures made me laugh again even though I wasn't in my best mood. What's new? I could say there are 3 new things: Scrat falls in love with Scratte, Buck the weasel is a new character that escorts the herd to rescue Sid in the underworld, and Peaches, the daughter of Manny and Ellie. OH! I forgot about the dinosaurs.

One of the scenes that amused me the most was the song of the acorn, the beloved one, that Scrat abandons at some point when he finds a female squirrel. The song is named Alone again (naturally) and is originally performed by Gilbert O'Sullivan, with special lyrics by co-screenwriter Yoni Brenner. How to not smile when you hear "I miss your furry lips". Even though the 3D effects aren't that spectacular, I must confess it worth seeing that movie. I'll give it a 9. Who says adults don't know how to have fun?
