It's time to catch up

After a while, like a few years for example, since college graduation I met some of my ex schoolmates. Last week I received a phone call from one of the girls. I ran into her in one sunny day in the park and we exchanged phone numbers, but as I'm used with people promising to see each other and never keeping their promise, I never thought she will really call back. But she did and I was absolutely thrilled with that. So we had a happy gathering on Saturday catching up the time elapsed since last time we've seen. It was really interesting to see what happened, how much or how less we've changed. One of us is married with children, other is going to be married soon and I'm invited at that wedding, others have already divorced or broke up with their long long term partner, but the most important thing is that we are all happy with what we realised in life until now. And we still have some years ahead of us and goals to achieve if someone else up there hasn't changed its plans. It was a "meet the girls" moment and I can't wait for the next time.
