Quantum of Solace
Bond... James Bond, the 007 British top secret agent makes mistakes for once in his life being in love. Strange for a Bond character but what else could we expect for an atypical Bond (BTW I like very much Daniel Craig)? Modern times bring modern ... changes. Typical for Bond movies is that 007 always has beautiful women around him but he is never in love. Maybe this time the movie producers thought that this is a state that must be understood by everyone so they created this episode: Bond tries to revenge his girlfriend's death, but, as usual, revenge brings more death with it. I was a bit disappointed by the music but the movie is a plane 007 movie. So a 7.5 it will be more then enough.

The Dark Knight
That was an interesting movie for me. Why? Being one of the fans of Batman series (cartoons and movies) I know almost every destiny of those strange characters that emerged from Batman’s story (The Dark Knight changed the story of Harvey Dent and put some romance in it just to be more ... commercial ?!?). You must also know that the old movies of Batman’s series in Tim Burton's or Joel Schumachers’s production gave me the same filling of mystery as the original comic book superhero. I really don’t want anyone to be upset but Christian Bale as Batman doesn’t seem a very good choice. Bale is not fit for Batman and maybe, just maybe, because of this I have the feeling that the movie lost its mystery aura, the feeling that the good isn't anymore powerful then the bad, dark part.
Didn’t you have the feeling that in the last The Dark Knight movie the reality was more powerful then the story itself? I felt like Batman lost in front of the evil Joker, that the film director transformed an evil character into a somehow pleasant one. How can a bad person be pleasant? How can a murdered be understood? Maybe I once in my life don’t want to understand bad boys; maybe I do need to feel at list while I’m watching a movie that there is a hero that will save the world. So please give me back my Batman!
OK, seriously speaking now, the Joker overtook Batman this time. Heath Ledger had a powerful acting so I do hope he will take a postmortem Oscar for this. For his best role acting I will give this movie a 9.

The Passengers
Recently seen, this movie made quite a nice impression on me. Is the kind of movie you will be delighted to see one evening when you'll decide to let yourself surprised by the action.
OK, the beginning is quite abrupt. It suggests that an airplane crashed and there are few survivors. Now enters the scene this lady doctor, Claire Summers (Anne Hathaway), who is supposed to take care of the mental status of survivors. While doing that she discovers some pieces in the story that don’t match with the public report about the plane crash: human error or the airline company tries to cover a malfunction? You will also find a romance story in the film, but the ending is quite astonishing. So you’d better see it yourself. Because the end was so impressive I’ll give it an 8.7.
