Recap: Last week we had an electrical breakdown at my work place so now we are suppose to stay over the official program hours to 'catch up' the lost time. Brrr! I hate this so much.
And like that wasn't enough, on Friday evening one of our colaborators came down with her little 3 and a half daughter. I love kids very much so I've starded to play with her while her momy was there. You know what? Some kids are as I use to call them ... atomic kids. That little girl took my correction fluid from the desk and began to paint everything. I offered her some paper to paint and draw as she like, but as I left the office for just few seconds, I had a huge surprise. She had painted my desk (wich btw is dark grey). Now I have a stripped desk with white stripes and dots. Just I wished for!!!
What else?!? Ah! I finished the almost 100 pages of describing Microsoft Access with print screens and all and gave my boss the project on time. Yupiii! One down.
Saturday I went to British Council, walked by foot on my way home and stayed in front of my computer till 1.30 in the morning to finish a translation into french for a friend of mine. My ... no doubt I'm so exhausted!
Sunday morning: tutoring. Later in the evening I helped my brother to fix the bathroom lamp and I did manage to cut and twist wires successfully!
And the last but not least the Koop concert that was absolutley incredible. The last night concert gave me such a good feeling and reminded me that are so many other good things in the world that bring us joy and happiness. It was a great live performance and I must admit that I was trully impressed by the drums guy.
For those of you who are not familiar with this band I must add that the sweedish band Koop is an electronic jazz duo: members are Magnus Zingmark and Oscar Simonsson. Their discography counts 3 albums: Sons of Koop, 1997, Waltz for Koop, 2002, Koop Islands, 2006. The most recent album was promoted in a 2 years tour that ended last night at Bucharest.
