Day 4 - Thursday

Sun is back in the clouds for the winter to come back. The weather forecast for the weekend: rain, wind, some snow and more rain.

Headaches won't stop,  Need more sleep and more friendly people around me. I'll make the first step: I'll keep on smiling.

I wonder what will happen to the flowers in the garden if it will snow again.

Day 3 - Wednesday

Sunny at last!

I've read this quote in the morning and it's stuck in my head:

“There comes a point in your life when you realize:
Who matters,
Who never did,
Who won't anymore,
And who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.”

(Adam Lindsay Gordon)

Nicely said but sooo true.

Day 2 - Tuesday

There were supposed to be like 16 degrees Celsius today but the wind is still blowing and it feels so cold. I'm so tired and I have all kind of strange dreams at night. I even wake up before my alarm rings. I had a busy day at work and I'm happily heading to my Japanese class tonight. I don't know what happened to people today but most of them seemed irritated and violent. On my way to work several people bumped into me without even apologizing or looking back. And after helping someone today the same person offended me: "I hope it has crossed your mind to do X". Note to myself: don't trust people so easily in the future!

Really people, what's wrong with Tuesdays?

One post per day - a week little project

Due to the fact I'm a lazy blogger and even though I usually have something to write about but I almost always end up not to because I just simply delay it, I've decided to start a small project: a post per day for an entire week. So hopefully I will keep up with it. So here it comes Day 1. Monday!

Nice day up until now, sunny but cold with promises to get better. How is it in your corner of the world?

March 8th

I've been telling you in the previous post how hectic that day was. But that was only the beginning of the wonderful International Women's day. At job I had some nice surprises: received a perfume that quickly found its owner in my grandma's person, a beautiful yellow rose (my favorite color when it comes to flowers) and a pizza and cake treat. We even got off 2 hours earlier which turned out to be a great idea. After work I went with 2 of my coworkers to have a coffee and relax a little. I received a tulip from a local VIP. Done my paying the fees round and finally got home only to get ready for the theater.

Ah! I forgot to tell that my brother and his girlfriend offered us some theater tickets for Friday. Only that morning my grandma woke up with fever and we had one spare place. Mom talked to my aunt but she couldn't come. Who else? Then mom suggested my neighbor and things were settled. Time to go. But couldn't get a taxi. It seemed that every taxi company in town turned of its phones and were nowhere to be reached. It took us 45 minutes and some steel nerves but we arrived at the theater 5 minutes before the play started. Surprise, surprise! We were 7 not 6 as the tickets I had in my purse. I only had time to say hello before my brother took me aside to ... buy water. He asked me what about the neighbor and I asked him what about the other person. It seemed that both of them were there in lieu of my grandma and, lack of communication, we were now in an odd situation. Of course there were no tickets left 5 minutes before the play. I gave my brother the tickets and asked him to take care of the ladies and I went having a late walk in the city. Nice, huh!

Still startled by the above events I called my boyfriend. He reassured me he'll be there in no time. Meanwhile, as enough wasn't enough, I call a good friend and find out that she had a crappy day: she was forced to quit. We concluded we need to meet and so I ended up with my boyfriend and my best friend at the restaurant. After reassuring my neighbor in zillions of messages that I was OK and that she should enjoy the play, our little group at the restaurant grew, as after the play my brother, my mom and my neighbor also joined us.

What a day!

Miracles?

Life, isn't it funny sometimes?! We don't think too much of it on a daily basis. We're too busy to get things done, but forget to be thankful for being alive, healthy, happy. Why am I in such a philosophical state of mind today, you may wonder?

Last night I was heading home on my usual route. I was about to cross the street and payed attention to the car coming from my right side. But I was startled to see a huge white car with squeaking brakes on my left. It stopped only a few inches from me. I moved on but as I was walking, I got more and more scared. The shock had got to me. I begun crying and thinking that could have been my end. A matter of seconds. I begun thinking if that would've happened (Thank God it hasn't) that I've done nothing of any kind of importance in my life up until, I have nothing of my own (no car, no house), I'm not married, I don't have kids, nothing. And depression grew bigger and bigger.

As if that wasn't enough, this morning I was waiting at the red light in order to, again, cross the street. Suddenly, a lady standing next to me pulled me a little back. Next moment, a garbage truck passed very close to me. She rescued me. I wasn't standing on the edge of the sidewalk, but a little too close to the cars passing by. I thanked her and after I crossed the street I turned to wish her a Happy 8th of March day, but she was nowhere to find. And trust me I looked and looked over and over again. Is like she was never there. She disappeared. Was she my guardian angel? I don't know. But I surely know that someone up there loves me and is trying to send me a message: to be more careful. Thank You for saving me twice!

I need to be more careful because I'm not the only one involved. There are also the ones who love me and those who did everything in their power for me to be here today, safe and sound.

Thank you for your love!

Crazy Tuesday

Yesterday was a hectic day at work and lately it seems there's a problem concerning communication in every aspect of a daily schedule. Not only my work day was like that, but while talking to my boss, I've managed somehow to broke a tooth. Now I need to visit the dentist, again, in not even 3 months. Great!

I don't know if Mercury is retrograde or what else could be there to explain to ruckus surrounding us but I need some quite time, some me time, some relax and charge the batteries time, if you now what I mean. I need time to think and put order into chaos.

Last weekend ended with being very tired because we had my grandfather's 7 years memorial day. For all those familiar with what kind of preparations that involves, it's understandable on what degree that can be exhausting. I even haven't had time to enjoy the 1st of March day (Martisor - of what I've talked about in the past) and I hope for a nice March 8th. Soon!

There were some good moments yesterday: when checking my email I found out that some cosmetics I've order a while ago arrived and that gave me a different mood. I've met a very nice person, Deea, which I'm thanking for the efforts she makes each month (in order to offer us the possibility to buy some products from USA). Meeting her yesterday, after already being filled in with bad news, was much needed as a mouthful of fresh air. She has a nice blog (http://deesboudoir.blogspot.ro/) about beauty products and I find her reviews really useful.

I felt sorry for not being able to talk more with her but I had to run to my Japanese class. Before the class started one of my new classmates, which is only 15, handed me the bracelet you can see in the first picture (the second one is a gift from my mom). She made it herself. I was so touched by her gift that I'm wearing it even now. That was really nice of her. Thank you Laura!

Those 2 girls saved my day!

I need a change, a change of plans, a change in strategy. And I'm not going to give up until I see things fulfilled.
